Through this SEBI Test, candidates are recruited for the post of Assistant Manager [Grade A]. Since the notification for vacancies for Legal, General, Engineering, Research, Information Technology, and Official Language stream get release every year by the statutory body.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the SEBI Grade A Legal stream, one needs to go through the complete SEBI Grade A eligibility criteria.
Enlisted are detailed prerequisites that a candidate needs to fulfill in order to appear for the SEBI Grade A exam:
- Further, there is certain age relaxation for specific categories. While for SC/ST, it is 5 years, for OBC, it is 3 years.
- For the domicile residents of J&K [between 1st January 1980 to 31st December 1981] and Ex-servicemen, the relaxation is of 5 years.
- For PwBD, the relaxation is 10 years [General Category], 13 [OBC], and 15 years [SC/ST].
Educational Qualification
The candidates who are willing to apply for the post of SEBI Grade A Officer under the Legal stream, should possess certain educational qualifications to be eligible. A candidate should possess an undergraduate degree in Law as the subject of specialization.

Exam Procedure
The most important aspect that should be taken into consideration before applying for the SEBI Grade A exam is to study the pattern and syllabus. This exam is conducted in 3 phases wherein Phase 1 & 2 are objective in nature. Phase 3, on the other hand, is the interview round.

Interview
- You have the option to choose either Hindi or English as the medium of language for the Interview.
- The weightage of marks obtained in the SEBI Officer Grade A Phase 2 exam is 85%, while marks obtained in the Interview shall be given a weightage of 15%.
